Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub

It’s been proven through brain scans that sugar is just addictive as cocaine (no wonder I use to feel like an addict when I’d have sugar cravings).

The problem with satisfying our sweet tooth is we usually go for the quick fix (i.e candy bar or  cookie – things with processed white sugar in them) and then we get the crash and burn effect later. Without nutrients to act as a filter, the sugar goes straight into your blood stream.

Abou two years ago, I moved to using all natural sugars in my baking. Since then, I still crave something sweet every once in a while but no longer feel like an addict and have found other non-food ways to satisfy my need for sweetness (like giving my boyfriend a hug and asking for a kiss).

If you’ve got lots of white stuff (read sugar) in your pantry, sweeten the feel of your skin with this fun Body Scrub recipe and replace your baking sugar needs with natural sweeteners.

Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub

  2. Mix in with the sugar, until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the coconut and the Lime Oil.
