I was fairly new to yoga when I found Katarina’s class. She had a very warm and inviting energy that made me feel comfortable. Being new to yoga, I struggled during flow sequences at times, but Katarina always made me feel at ease. She really knew how to work the room, and her voice was clear and concise. She is the reason my love for yoga became catapulted. I also always enjoyed her music. Overall, Katarina just has such a beautiful, loving energy. Her passion for the practice really shines.💖

More about Katarina L Simko

Katarina Simko E-RYT200, CHC is a Yoga Instructor and Certified Health Coach. She specializes in helping her clients get healthy and stay healthy amidst life’s chaos and stress through her 1-1 coaching practice and her lively yoga classes. Previously a professional dancer, she’s always been fascinated by how the body moves and works. This fascination inspired her to take her 200hr in 2010 with Breath and Body Yoga (Austin, TX) and enroll in Integrative Nutrition Coaching from IIN in 2012. Infusing her love and constant study of anatomy, functional movement and mindfulness, her yoga classes support students to heal and grow yet are approachable.

Katarina has lead health retreats, workshops, and trainings all over the US and in Canada. She also teaches Paddleboard Yoga on the Willamette River. Her students range from NIKE employees training for marathons, to retirement community residents in wheelchairs, to city professionals and busy moms looking to de-stress. Katarina hopes to inspire people to use the stressors in their lives to be more courageous, compassionate, and resilient both on and off the mat. Katarina’s favorite ways to relax are in nature, with her husband in their custom-built tiny house, or on the dance floor with friends.
