I teach the body inherently knows how and wants to heal itself. When the root cause of an imbalance is treated rather than just the symptoms, the body can heal itself.

When this is not happening, it is usually because the body does not recognize the problem as a problem. The cure, then, is in the enhancement of the body’s own internal awareness of itself.

This means creating balance with an integrative approach to health and wellness which involves talking MORE than counting calories, what yoga pose you can do, and measuring the size of your waist.

Healing starts with a lifestyle that is in harmony with the changing cycles of nature. Healing also occurs when the body stops living in emergency mode.

With technology and this fast pace world, it’s even more important now, more than ever, we learn how to NOT let the chaos around us dictate our health or happiness.

Stress can hijack our sleep, depress our immune system, strain our relationships and weigh heavy on our body, mind and soul.

BUT stress itself is just energy and by changing our relationship to it, we can actually grow more and be healthier.

I believe that everyone can heal

I’ve been teaching about body awareness for 15 years and yoga for ten years. I have learned over 100 different ways of eating, dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; Tony Robbins and many other leading researchers, coaches, and nutrition authorities.

From my experience it takes a holistic
mind and body approach to create lasting change.

I’m all about balancing the knowledge of “how to” with “get it done” accountability.

All of my workshops, classes, retreats, trainings and sessions are made to invite connection and be interactive. This means not to just inspire action later, but to engage now.

I’m not your stereotypical yogi who flows wherever the wind takes her and stops life because mercury is in retrograde.

I’m practical, down to earth and I walk my talk. I believe in continuing education, open communication and realize not everyone wants to live in a forest.
